I guess another OEM one will do! This is an OEM Evo IX turbo:

Just for fun, I set this next to a small 16G I had on my 2G:

See why running the stock turbo on an evo is so much fun? :) I also got a stock intake manifold and TB for cores for my porting project!

Any Evo 8 owners reading this, if you're looking for an upgrade, I actually have a second IX turbo on its way to me, kick ass upgrade, especially for 03-04 guys! I will let this second one go cheap!

Wow. That is actually pretty large. Atleast you can say you're still running a stock turbo! That's what I plan on doing with my FP18G, thank god my 18G is the same size as a 14b.

WTF size is your VIII stocker? That thing is huge compared to that 16g.

And in the first pic, is that the Six Million Dollar Man's boss in a glass thing? http://smiliesftw.com/x/lolcrx.gif

Stock VIII is just slightly smaller, I'm hoping for another 15whp or so out of this one. The thing on the wall is a boba fett figure I got for xmas a year or two ago, it never made it in the house :)

IX turbo will end up costing me a couple hundred bucks and I'm gunning for 375whp. The HTA is $3200 or more, depending on the kit. I don't need 450whp, much less 600whp on the stock block, this will be plenty of fun!

The IM & TB are being sent to Buschur Racing for their port job. Same as they run on their 650+whp shop and customer cars with good results, and the price is right :)
