It's like the Stillwater gas station. Because it's the only one downtown :)

Your car looks pretty sick and has some decent performance. Great job so far on it.

Going for a good mix of both. :) I'm hoping to push a bit higher than 250 this spring.

Fuuuuuuck me.... As I had mentioned before, RIPP's presence on the C4G forum is much stronger, and they are seemingly getting more and more willing to push our platform, which is making me happy, since other than RIPP we have hardly any support.
Anyway... recent post from RIPP:
"We've done an extensive amount of stock and then mod's testing:
Stock 4TH Gen:
217whp GT
RIPPMODS 4TH GEN Eclipse N/A NO BRAT
YouTube - RIPPMODS 4TH GEN Eclipse N/A NO BRAT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0ivwp15sgA)
In this video you will see a N/A 4th Gen Eclipse GT V6 Automatic trans, being DYNO tested. It will Produce 238whp, running a cold air kit and an axle back exhaust system and NO BRAT.
RIPPMODS 4TH GEN Eclipse N/A WITH-BRAT
YouTube - RIPPMODS 4TH GEN Eclipse N/A WITH-BRAT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV6PVbGjfgQ)
In this video you will see a N/A 4th Gen Eclipse GT V6 Automatic trans, being DYNO tested. It will Produce 245whp (an additional 7whp), running a cold air kit and an axle back exhaust system and the addition of a RIPP-BRAT BOX.
RIPPMODS Long tube header test 276whp RIPP Dyno NO BRAT
YouTube - RIPPMODS Long tube header test 276whp RIPP Dyno (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyHyjSMDA2Q)
RIPPMODS tests its new long tube header for the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse V6 producing 276whp using a 2.25 inch exhaust and intake on our in house Dyno Dynamics Dyno.
RIPPMODS 286whp 4thGen Eclipse Header test 3in exhaust
YouTube - RIPPMODS 286whp 4thGen Eclipse Header test 3in exhaust (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7niNdWyUxY)
RIPPMODS performs a test with its new Long Tube header with a 3in custom exhaust installed. 288whp was easily achieved at operating temp no BRAT.
TECH"
Between my Intake, Headers, and cat-back Exhaust... i've gained about exactly 20whp. Considering the money i've spend, I guess it's not that bad, but the headers were a BITCH to get in, ask Mark and his Dad, and compared to the numbers RIPP is talking about here, i'm a feel like I made a big mistake by taking the cheaper route with the short tube headers vs RIPP's long tube.
I'm thinking about selling my headers and upgrading... 275whp un-tuned off just re-doing my exhaust sounds pretty tempting, that would make 300whp within reach without having to go boost.
Also, they run dyno dynamics.

Wow, the gains from the long tubes is a lot.
The gain differences between the long tube and short tube might not actually be that much, if nothing else is restricting them. Has anyone tested the shorties? We have done swaps from shorties to long tubes on NA 300whp Mustangs and there haven't been power gains on the dyno. Maybe there would be real gains on a more crazy, bigger displacement, higher power NA build.

Also, I think this is part of the reason their supercharger kit seemed to make such an amazing amount of power to me. Their headers are making much more power than the ~20whp (comparable to mine) that I thought they made, and more like 40-50whp. (between intake exhaust and the headers)
So their exhaust system alone, tuned, gets you relatively close to 300, the s/c kit will then get you the next ~115whp to get to about 400, but I think if I could get close to ~300 N/A that I would probably prefer that, and I could run a small wet shot if I really wanted any more power.
