Ya, use of the taser was pretty much not necessary IMHO. The person *could* have been a little more compliant, but at the same time the timeline of it all going down was a little too quick. Impatient bastards!

Completely uncalled for.

If you listened the guy was looking for his license and insurance and the cop was getting impatiant. Then started yelling at him. My first time getting pulled over, I got pulled over from a cop worse than that and all he did was yell at me for going like 3 over in the fast lane... Now I fucking hate cops!

IMO this cop was WAY out of line.

I was just going to say that. The guy never back talked the cop until the cop started yelling. He was looking for his license, i know sometimes ill put my license in my jacket instead of my wallet or have a lot of cards in my wallet and it takes longer then what the cop gave him.
I would definatly be sueing them. I would have actually been talking shit to the cop while i was on the ground asking him to tase me again so i can get some more money. LOL This cop deserves to get a big fine.
He was also prolly pissed because he had to work on thanksgiving. LOL "I HUNGRY COP I GET CRANKY WHEN I HAVE NO DOUGHNUTS!!!"

Wow, That was way out of line. He didn't even give warning that he was going to use the taser. He just said Stop, then immediately pulled the trigger. I agree the guy could have been a little more compliant, but come on, 20 seconds to get his license and insurance before the cop drags him out of the car? That's a little insane.

That guy was mouthing off almost the whole time, he got what he deserved. You guys obviously don't realize what cops deal with all day, every day, losers, liars and deadbeats. If every single person you talked to every day lied to you, called you names, tried to get away or just mouthed off, do you think you would just kick back and go patiently through the official police process for dealing with individuals? I've gone on several ride alongs with a buddy of mine on the Blaine police force. You'd be surprised at the crap they put up with every day.

That's part of the job, that is why they have official policies. Not saying it is right, or that should happen, but I am sure you are supposed to warn a person before you taze them. Like said above, tazers are supposed to be instead of deadly force, they can kill some people with bad hearts.

Can't watch it, I'm at work. (Blocked) Some cops are just dicks, most are frairly reasonable. Sounds like this Cop was a little trigger happy with the taser.

The cop acted completely unprofessional and obviously unethically, like most cops do.

The cop was in absolutely no personal danger other than pulling the man out of the car and using a TASER on him which exposed the officer even closer to the traffic that was very close doing 60+mph.

Jet is right, TASERs have killed many people. These things are not to be used in any situation. As a matter of fact they should not be allowed at all. It is the same as playing Russian roulette with someone else's life. Is that okay? "well this guy isn't giving me his ID and registration fast enough... I think I'll risk killing him for not complying fast enough!" Is this okay... honestly? Why do we the people give the cops this authority? Oh that's right.... we don't.

Goatblower, with all due respect, you are completely wrong. Cops deal with assholes just like everyone else in the world. Why should they get special treatment? They don't "put up" with shit, they picked the job. If they were naive enough to think that they were going to be "helping the community" and everything was going to be perfect, they should be the ones getting electrocuted.

Of course it is proper to be polite to an officer that is communicating with you, which the guy in this video was trying to do. People do not pick the job of a police officer because they think it is a friendly job. But if you are a police officer and you cannot understand that the man does not instantly have his ID and registration ready you should consider offing yourself from the world. If this guy was getting his ID and registration ready when the cop was walking to the car this douche bag probably would have just shot him anyway. The guy was breaking an insignificant law and attempting to assist the officer and the officer risked both of their lives by not only pulling him out of the car, but then again by using his TASER. Is that really okay? Should we be so intimidated by the police that we have to have a script ready to read off to them when we get pulled over so we don't get electrocuted?

The whole time I was hoping a semi was gonna hit that fucker.
Honestly I do not hate many people, but fuck I hate cops.

And no I'm not some guy who is pissed because cops put me in jail for stealing a car while high on crack and ended up killing 3 people. I very rarely get in trouble (see: caught) and when I have gotten in trouble it has been for very minor violations.
