Actually, its not "worth it" to flip the cas around and "try".
What is worth it is to look at the alignment dots and align the CAS.

Calm down n00b fucker, YOUR the one on here asking for help...... :whoo:

Don't even try to talk down to me boost creep.

There is no "try" when you are working on a car, everything you do needs to be "CORRECT"

if anyone has anything more to suggest, say it now, otherwise this car gets pushed in the lot and I start working on my galant.

If the MAF signal does not deviate from 3, it sounds like there is a problem with the MAF-T. I had this problem before, and if it's solid at 3hz, something is goofy with it. Mine had a leaky cover and was getting moisture inside the box.

So, clean that out, check the wiring, and if that doesn't work, try hooking up/plugging in a stock MAS.

How else are you going to fix the problem when no one knows what is causing it to begin with? Have you ever heard of troubleshooting? Trial and error is your friend and none of the suggestions given to you already are going to hurt anything. Your attitude right now is what makes people not want to help you in the future.

Yeah dude stop being a dickhead. are you sure your SAFC is wired up correctly/ setup correctly. DOUBLE CHECK THE CAS. and if you look at a manual you will notice that you dont line up the CAS with the "dot on the camshaft", you line up the dot on the camshaft sensor housing to the dot on the "plate"(the part that spins). Also like Sleepy said make sure that plate is on correctly(im the dickhead that put it on wrong cuz he was fighting with his bitchy ass girlfriend)! Make sure the MAFT is wired correctly...

1 and 4 go to the front coil.
2 and 3 go to the rear coil.

GM MAF and SAFC for tuning.

what should the karmen read while starting? its at a solid 3 when the car is not running, and it doesnt go up much while cranking...

Um, you are the one who titled your own thread "having N00b problems.....". We are just trying to help, if you do not want the options you have to try, then push your pile in the lot and do not ask us for our opinion, only to be a dick after you have heard your options. And maybe you should listen to some of the advice YOU asked for, the people at the other end of the keyboard may have a bit more experience then you(specially considering the title YOU made). I'll be sure to try and never help you again. Thanks.

This is Berda's car, the SAFC and GM MAF were working when the motor was removed.

This is some of the worst wiring in the world, so maybe I was wrong to assume that the gm maf was connected correctly...

The next step is to remove the GM MAF and SAFC completely. get a 1G mas and another ECU. Bring everything back to stock.

So obviously something changed when the motor was removed and put back in. Figure it out, smart guy.

Have you tried advancing or retarding the CAS?
