On my car i found it easier with two people, one to pull on the pry bar and feel the tension on the belt, and the other to tighten the bolt when the first person tells them too. Did mine once that way, didn't have to do it again. And tighten it good and hard.

Its probably just loosening up. And just an FYI: if your power steering pump was low it wouldnt squeal, it would wine.

Did you check your alternator belt?

Sounds like the belt is glazed, spec is I think 1/2" deflection.
Replace the belt or try using a wax pen under the belt while the engine is running to deglaze it :).

Well the belt is brand new and im sure that it just stretched a bit, so im going to try tightening it one more time and see what happens with that....
what about the adjuster bolt???? couldn't I just use that to tighten it?

There is no adjuster bolt. The ps belt tensions by prying the pump and tightening the mounting bolts.

The adjuster is on the alternator for the belt, and I tightened the ps belt.. STILL SQUEALING!! Im thinking that it could be the alternator belt instead.. Anyone else have the same problem??

I would make sure both are tight.
Try this old mechanic trick. Get some belt dressing and put a little on one belt and see if it goes away. If not try the other belt.
In my experience if a belt was making noise, it was always the alternator belt. Could be a sign of a failing alternator also. Had that happen also.
