Well I just got my 4g Click Wheel working again. Yay ...kinda it still skips and locks up. But it works again. Thats great the touch is working for ya. To me the size wont fit...my 40gb is 3/4's full. hahaha But I am back to using it at work... How is the battery life on that touch?

I am very interested in the Touch iPod as well. But, I dont understand how the internet function works? Are there addtional charges or service fees for using the wi-fi?

If you are in an area with free wireless or an unprotected signal then you connect and use the internet. Like a laptop.
Unlike the iphone the internet only works if you are in an area with an open wi-fi signal.
I'm typing this right now on my iPod touch! Using wifi. :)

here is my .2 cents. The Ipod touch is crap. 16Gb's wow thats not big at all. The freaking Ipod Classic has a 120Gb hard drive. And is maybe cheaper then the touch. At first Apple was going to call it the Widescreen. But they went with touch. But thats not the point. The point is the size that the HDD is. To me its not worth the price. But thats up to you.
He says it perfectly. I think unless they come out with a big HDD for it, I'm sticking with my 60g 5th gen.

I would dearly hope that Apple fixed their way to easy to scratch problem since my old and current iPod got scratched taking it out of its protective case. Makes sense not.
I have now dropped mine a few times and there isnt a scratch on the screen. On the back there are some scratches but every ipod is that way.
If I wanted an Ipod with a huge amount of storage I wouldnt have bought the touch. I will probably never fill this thing unless I start loading video which I dont plan to do. Maybe for a flight or something but I rarely go anywhere.

That's about it too. I have around 7000 songs and i'm nowhere near filling mine up. I could put about 10 movies on with a couple thousand pics and then finally be close to filling it up and thats with my old 60gig video. But then again with the right conversion of my files this could be wrong.

I honestly don't see a need for more than 10 gigs of music. 10 gigs is such a huge play list anything more gets to be a pain to shuffle through.
Video of course is nice to have... but I think 16gig will suffice for me. Being that my current mp3 player (my blackberry) has 1 gig.
