The surreal night began with some helpful advice from MitsuStyle. My friend Katie and I were able to find a fabulous restaurant called Indian Palace. We got all dressed up for our girls night out. The food was authentic and we can’t wait to go back. However, the night took a turn for the worst when we ventured into Minneapolis…to Sex World.

It was a harmless fling, Katie, Sex World and I; we did our usual park job across the street in a lot. We have parked here prior including during snow storms. We ventured in like old pros (getting ID of course) and took a quick gander at what Sex World had to offer us. We noticed there is no more 2 for $19.99 porn video racks and the marriage chapel is making a come back. The night progressed and we were ready to leave (empty handed) after no more than 10 minutes.

We were walking to my lovely car when my (and any MitsuStyle members) worst nightmare came true…my car was gone!!!! I started running around in a fit of rage and fear crying and screaming “My car is gone, my car is gone!” I looked around and it was no where in sight. My first reaction was that someone stole it; luckily my friend Katie is an old pro, for her car has been towed before. She called the towing agency and the guy was a dick to her and said they had a white eclipse but would not confirm it was mine. He instructed her to walk 10 blocks to Lyndale and that they would be right there!

So we started walking in our 4 in high heals down the streets of Minneapolis. As we walked, the streets progressively got darker. My feet hurt so I took off my heels and we each held one for protection. We then began to run. After about 6 blocks the lights stopped, the streets were empty and dark. There were men on bikes following us, all business and retail ended and we were approaching a neighborhood. After another estranged call to Anthony ended the men on the bikes came closer and we had to call the police. We lost it and thought this could be the end.

I started flagging down traffic and luckily a public safety officer pulled over. He told us that it was illegal to drive us any where, but he saw my tears and said himself there really was no safe place for us to wait. Vulnerable, we then got in his car.

After getting dropped off at the impound lot (which was miles away and we would have never made it, we were going in the wrong direction to begin with!!) the dick impound worker guy said we needed cash. $245.00 worth of cash!!! After fighting with the ATM there for 20 minutes we got the money. I asked the man behind the glass what to do if they snapped my axels. He got angry and yelled at me about how they had been towing for 20 years and don’t hurt cars, only pocket books. I sassed back.

In the end I got my car and she was fine. I now spent my whole paycheck (that I received this morning) and part of Katie’s. Looking back we know it was dumb to try to walk there, but I was in such a nervous panic about my car we just started walking. If it was not for the public safety officer who knows where Katie and I would be right now…

Suckage! It's too bad the towing guys all have to be such dicks when they're in that roll, it is impossible to work with them unless you have cash in hand and bribe them. Just assholes for no reason. I'd verify with them that a flatbed was used on your car, as your center diff could be unhappy if it was towed with the rear tires dragging.

I don't know what else to say but be more careful where you park! :D

I'm rather suprised that this happened, as I know where you usually park, and that's not a bad spot. It pisses me off further-more, that people are dicks like that, and take total advantage of the situation. I'd go back to where you parked, take pics of the area, and sue their fucking stupid asses for making a wrong decision. 10 minutes costed you (and me now) 245. Not cool.

Yeah there is no damnage that I saw last night, and trust me I will look over it more today. It also drove totally fine, but once again I will look over it more today and take a look and the frame and everything.

Which lot did you park it? Cause isn't there a lot right there on that corner by sex world with like a $6 parking fee? Cause when we go to the Choice (right across the street from Sex World) that's where we park, and have never had an issue.

Wow that sucks I think I know the parking lot you are talking about. I hope things pan out for the best. Almost 300 dollars for a tow that sucks.

car was fine. looked at it today. she made a few calls, and talked to more snotty people. Next is a visit to the parking lot, to look for a sign that even asks for money to park there. As far as is known, the only signs there where "no parking between 6am-6pm". I wonder how well a news team would like doing stories on tow companies who send people to parking lots, and tow cars out of there, as soon as it's left there?
