Welfare is great! I was on welfare when i came to USA back in '93.
It helped my family greatly, we were able to get an apartment to live in, and have medical coverage and food on the table for the first few months while we were here. We were on welfare for total of 4 months, both mom and dad started working within 3 months after getting here, it was a minimum wage job, so they both had to work, one whole salary went to rent, the other was for food. But we were off welfare within 3 months, and the extra check and food stamps we got we paid it back, we used it and then found out we had to pay it back.
Hopefully the deadbeats don't destroy welfare, because it is a great temporary solution to help families that are in need rather than deadbeats. They should put in limits and cutoff dates to it, that is all.
If my family could relocate to another country and start a new life, they can get out of their enviroments and start their own lives too while on welfare and start a new job, they already speak English my family didn't! so they have advantage already.

This is a great example of what the welfare system is really for. To help those in need get back on their feet. NOT A LIFESTYLE. Don't get me wrong, if you are hurt, disabled and unable to work, by all means you deserve it. But for those who take it for a free ride, they need to be straightened out.
I worked very hard for everything I have. Some people here may think I have some kind of trust fund or parents who give me money. I don't. Everything you see on my car or that I have I PAID FOR out of money I earned myself (legally of course).
All I'm saying is that it is not fair to tax payers like me and you to have people taking advantange of the system at our expence.

That's what social security is for, what's left of it that is.
When I lived in No Hope we were the only people in the building paying rent. Every one else, and I mean everybody, was on section 8. The worst part is they pretty much all drove $35-$50K cars. I'd run into them at the store buying food with stamps then whiping out a stack of 20's & 100's and buying $50 worth of lotto and tobacco.

Welfare is a good thing, if used in moderation. Enes, I can see how some people would think you shouldn't have been on welfare. I mean, it shouldn't be our job to pay for immigrants to survive when they move here. Afterall, we allow them to come here. That is enough isn't it? However, only being on it for a few months is a great example of moderation. You guys seemed to use it only as long as you needed it. If everyone on welfare did that, we would have alot less tax money being wasted. I do not enjoy knowing that a portion of my taxes is paying some lazy fuck on crack to sit at home and do nothing while I work and pay for them to live.
As for the sign, the bitch should go slit her wrists. The owner probably pays a pile of tax money and doesn't appreciate where he knows it's going. Granted, putting up a sign like that won't help shit but it shows that he is not okay with lazy people using welfare for laziness. I respect that. That lady has probably been on welfare the past 2 years and the sign makes her want to kill herself for being pathetic which is where the rant comes from I'm sure.
The owner needs to put a sign up near that one
"Cry more please, then go fuck yourself if you don't agree with me"

The sign that said "I take a drug test to get a paycheck, what about the welfare check." I bet if the welfare check required a drug test that would solve our welfare problem right there.
Ive never been on welfare, neither have my parents or my grandparents. We have been middle class for as long as i can remember. But my parents worked their asses off making it so that we would never need to be on welfare and we could live good lives.
The sign was not racist, the lady in that video needs to open her eyes and get out of "Race Card" mode. The people in the welfare system are not only blacks, and if she is insisting that it is (which by her comments she is) then what are you saying about your own people? Give your people a little more credit. I have many black friends, and they all would laugh at that girl and know how stupid her comments sound.
I want to put up signs like that on my property. Im sure that business got a huge outpour of support.

What that lady needs to read is what this man has to say.
I give you Jesse Lee Peterson (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/archives.asp?AUTHOR_ID=249), the other Jesse. Read his articles and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I'm OK with what Enes' family did.
What I'm not ok with is how we bring people into this country, give them "up start" money to start their own business which they don't have to pay back. Then make their income from the business tax free for ten years and allow ownership of the business to be transferred to another member of the family which starts the 10 year tax free cycle all over again. I do believe that people deserve help, but when people who are not from this country have it better than those who are, that is wrong.

I agree with you. The problem is not people like yourself that try hard to start a good life. It is the people (any deadbeat) that sit around the house doing nothing and get paided for it. While we (the working class) get stuck with the bill
I think the easiest fix is to put a 6 month limit on welfare. After 6 months you are done, if you are able to work. Also, the amount of money you get shouldn't go up because you have more kids. If you are on welfare and have more kids, it should stay the same. I knew some women in my old hometown that would have kids to get more money and they never did work. The money didn't go towards the kids, they spent it. That is BS.
The way the system is setup is stupid though. Say you get $400 a week on welfare, if you start making $200 a week at a job, then they drop it down to like $100 a week from welfare, so you take home less! If you make $200 a week at a job, they should drop it to like $275 so it gives you incentive to work.

What a dumb negro.
She's lucky they didn't interview me. I would have lined her ass out RIGHT.
More people need to get off of their ass and pull their own weight, regardless of race.

Anyone that pays taxes should appreciate that sign and someone excersizing their right to speak freely. I'd like to shake the mans hand that posted that up. After What I saw today at Gerdeau Ameristeel, Inside the factory 130-140degrees and the people don't make the greatest money in the world but they are there everyday working/sweating their asses off to keep food on their tables they do what it takes to make a living. Why can't others. one guy working their said " i'd rather be back in iraq that seemed cold compared to this".
