I'm sick of my car. I dropped 2k on a motor rebuild and it runs like shit, the exhaust cost me 400 dollars and it's an inch off the ground (Was going to get it fixed, but jake never called me...wtf?), I think I fried the ECU while adjusting the BISS screw, I see oil around the headgasket. This is my only car, I'm almost out of highschool...
I want to sell it but I know I won't even get 2500 out of the piece of shit. Right now I'm thinkin about taking insurance off it, buying a cheap ass beater and let the stupid thing sit untill I feel like ripping it all apart and going through the whole car.

How much research did you do before tearing the car apart in the first place? The big thing with these cars is doing tons of research before you work on it, or else shit like this happens. Same thing happened with my timing belt. I fucked up and didnt ask anyone if the 6 bolt block and 7 bolt block had different ways of tensioning the belt. Well they do, the 6 bolt is bass ackwards (or the 7 bolt is) but the point is, i assumed it was the same, now i have 4 bent valves and a new head on the way. You cant assume anything with these cars.
Best of luck dude, but as long as you learn from your mistakes you will make it. just stick it out.

You have to ground out two prongs to be able to adjust it.
I had Jake build my engine for that reason, tpunx.

Jake said he'd fix your exhaust so you don't need to vent about that. I don't know if you knew this but dsms are not the most reliable cars. It is normal that you need to "vent" every once in a while. Trust me everybody does it, they just don't post it on the forum. Shit I've wanted to sell my car like 413645 times but I don't because I could never get back the money or time I put into it. I told you right off the bat to sell your car and save yourself the money and stress. Go buy a civic
p.s. if this sounds really mean or like I'm attacking you, I'm not. Since this is the internet and you can't really see how somebody is saying something, just don't take any offense thanks!
