ok guys... in the past week I installed a new fmic (a lot bigger then old one) and the piping is now short route. I tested my type-s bov and it was leaking, so I installed a 1gbov crushed. When I first took out the car i may have boosted a little too high, around 22-23psi spike. After that the past few days I drove on it normal. Yesterday, I turned down the boost just to get it set at about 19psi and about a 20psi spike. Well everytime I would turn down the boost it wouldn't change. Now the car boost spikes to 25psi while accelerating and still goes up, so I cut it off before any higher. Could it be the BOV?

if this will help, i run a 50 trim, internal wastegate and a MBC

No its not the BOV... Bypass the MBC and see if it still happens. Hook the line going to the MBC directly up to the wastegate actuator. If it still happens, you are just getting boost spike and need a ported housing or something that will flow a little better to control boost.

If it doesnt happen, then replace the MBC or you have it hooked up wrong. Make sure the lines are all hooked up and good to and from the MBC.

Is the wastegate on the 50 trim ported or a large flapper?

when i had the type-s bov the intake was going to the bov, now that i switched them i just plugged the intakes bov return and have nothing going to the 1g bov.

The BOV is not your problem! Hook the line back up to the BOV and leave it.

Where is the line coming from that goes to the MBC?

both lines from the MBC are going to the turbo, the bov line is all hooked up right, i put a little clamp on just in case it wasn't leaking a little bit, i'm gonna go test it out now, I still don't think this will solve my problem.

took it out on a test drive, still is boosting way too high. Everything is hooked up right, i think it has something to do with the BOV, before the BOV wasn't venting, my type-s was hooked up to my intake bov return. Now the intake BOV return is blocked off and the 1g crushed is venting... i turned the MBC almost all the way down... to the point where its almost out all the way.

A BOV can't raise the boost level, it just vents when you let off the gas. Are you using the brass 90* in the turbo for the reference boost source?

i'll take a look at everything tonight, maybe i over looked something, and i dunno if the i'm using the brass 90*. sorry if i'm not helpful, i do believe that my internal wastegate was ported out, shindley put my car together and i do believe remembering him telling me he did.
