so i just eliminated my MBC and took one of the lines and zip tyed one-end to the wastegate actuator and the other to the turbo... the wastegate held to 16lbs and then launched to like 25lbs. I think its because i accidently cut the line a little bit, and when i hit max boost on the acuator it broke open the line. So, tomorrow i'm getting a new MBC and lines, hopefully it'll solve my problem.

Just replace the line if you cut it... Thats all there is to it!

ok, replaced everything and well it's still doing it, so that means that it must be the wastegate, right? Any ideas of a route i should go for a new wastegate?

The wastegate probably just isn't flowing enough, I doubt it is bad. You can adjust the arm some. It should just BARELY push on the wastegate to keep it closed. That will allow it to open as much as possible. If that still doesn't cut it, then you will probably have to have the wastegate ported.

ok, can you explain to me how the wastegate arm works, i've looked at it, now i just need to know how to adjust it so that it barely pushes on the wastegate.

my new solution.... When I was first building my 2g eclipse I bought a 50 Trim internally gated off of ebay, well turned out that I got scammed and the turbo was bad. So after storing it and losing it I finally found it. The wastegate is identical, so i'm just going to swap them and see if that works. The one that's getting pulled out will just be looked over and maybe ported out. If anyone knows anything about porting out wastegates let me know!

I had this problem on my old car and it ended up to be the wastegate actuator wasn't working. Might want to check that out as well.

Was just gonna say that..Did in all of your guy's searching to find a problem think of your waste gate actuator...its probly not hooked up or you eliminated it when you put your MBC in didnt you. Just had my buddy come over yesterday bitchin how his car was boostin up to 20 psi, I go look, and the actuator is just chillin with no lines to it, you might wanna check that. And a crappy bov would cause a vac leak, not huge psi spikes. Witch would make your car run like ass.

all my lines are running where they are suppose to be, the line to the BOV, the line to the turbo and the line to the wastegate, the lines from the wastegate and turbo are going to my MBC, and are set-up correctly. Last night I swapped the wastegates and well the problem isn't fixed but better, so i'm gonna try a different MBC just in case my old one worked and it was just the wastegate, if that doesn't work then it has to be something with the BOV in my mind. Can someone explain to me about why you would recirculate your BOV to an intake return? My Type-S was recirculated before I took it off, now that the 1g crushed is on I don't have it recirculated, but I changed my FMIC and the set-up went to short route IC piping, would that be why I don't need to recirculate?
