This shit is absolutley rediculous. You can't do or say anything anymore w/o offending somebody these days. I'm just gonna stick to my plan of offending everyone ;)

It's a historical event. I don't see what the big deal is. Maybe Hollywood should make a movie about the Muslims conquering Jerusalem to make them happy. Oh wait, they already did.....

Meh. Its really hard to even begin to take that stuff seriously. Have you seen some of the anti-US propaganda that comes out of that country? They are simply preying on our weak political-correctness oriented society. I'm willing to bet that a surprising number of Americans side with them on this one.
How many more times have Germany, England, Japan, Russia, etc been villainized in movies?

Very true. This just adds to the political correctness crap that I, personally, and tired of seeing on the news every day. There's always someone out there looking for something to bitch about, no matter what the case, how serious it's supposed to be, who made/said it, or what it (or was supposed to) depict. It's like the internet, it's serious fucking business

I'm just waiting for the day I get into trouble for excessive use of the word "Homosexual," "fag," and "gay."

Not to mention flipping the bird on numerous occasions daily.

HAhaha, I'm not really bitching, just adding to the discussion. If I was bitching, I would call everyone cocksuckers, and threaten to forcibly inseminate their mothers :sex2:

Personally I think it's a good article. Being a Muslim myself, just when I saw the previews before some of the movies I've seen recently, I was turned off from the movie just because of the way they depict Muslims as almost supernatural/evil or something of the sort. It basically looks like humans vs. some sort of sci-fi race, which it was not, it was human vs. human.

I am not overly sensitive but if they want to depict the amazing story of the "300", at least do it in a reasonable manner. You could easily show the dramatic nature of what happened there without making the Persians look like freakshows. Just show that they came on hard, but these "300" were still able to hold them off for a decent amount of time. In Braveheart they could have made the warriors from other countries some sort of sci-fi beast but they didn't, and that is one of the best movies ever made.

From the first time I saw a preview, I decided I had no interest in a movie that was going to depict Muslims in this manner. But now with all the hype and talk of the Iranians uproar, I have to see it in full just to know what the hell I'm talking about.
