I can see where you are coming from, but didnt this battle occur over a thousand years before Muslims came to be? I for one never associated Muslims with the Persians in this movie. Nor do I really associate middle-easterners with the "monsters" depicted.
Thats a good point, like I pretty much admitted in my post, I don't know much about this event/movie. I just associated Iranians with being Muslims.. that is my bad. It didn't even cross my mind that it was pre Islam/Christianity.
I guess I will be seeing this movie with a little more of an open mind now :P.
It's nice to have a few opinions on here that are objective and open minded enough to make a logical/valid point which will pretty much make the whole argument a mute point. Well done.
