yeah, the rolla couldn't hack it spending the night outside, but i guess it doesn't help that i have drained the battery at least a handful of times already.

I wish it would warm up to at least 30's soon because I need to pull the transmission out of my old car and I will be doing it in a non-heated garage.

Well, my car cranks slowely. I gotta turn the fuel on for a bit firtst, because it sounds like it's fricken frozen in the lines! But, once that's "flushed", the cranking starts. It takes a bit to turn it over, but once it fires up and warms up a bit, she's good for the day. I left it at st. kate's over night on sat., and she did fine sunday afternoon when I left before the game started. deep-cycle optima battery FTW!!
It's Pretty nice out today. I hope this is a sign of good weather to come. The part that sucks is that my dad insists to have the window in the laundry room open, because it's too "warm" in the basement for our computers. My room is next door, so it's rather freezing. I have 3 comforters, 6 blankets, 2 sheets, and it's still borderline not enough.

I'm pretty happy. I went and started all 15 cars I have in inventory and all but 2 started right up. Not bad.
Days like this make me wonder when this Global Warming scare is actually coming, we could sure use it this winter. Speaking of that, I heard Gore is getting ready to release his global cooling movie now, the one he made simultaneously with his other movie "An Inconvenient Theory". It fits a little better right now.

I am so glad that my garage is insulated and heated. I keep it at 48 degrees. It sure was nice jumping into a warm car this morning.
Of course, my natural gas bill is out of this world. :(

Ames has been nice during this cold snap. I pulled out my Carhart coveralls for class a couple times last week so I've always stayed warm.
On the other hand, back in Decorah, 3 of the 4 normally operational vehicles at my parent's house did not start this morning.
