New AppleTV and iPhone released today

My $80 xbox does what the apple TV does and in HD and much more. Then again I have to maintain it and build the damn thing but still!

The apple phone is insane, didn't check the price but looks expensive.

AppleTV seems like a waiste of money to me. I can already currently do everything it allows you to without it.

However I will need to be picking my self up aa iPhone asap.

I would never buy that iphone. Frankly, I dont like how phones are so much more than phones now. Not to mention apple stuff breaks so easily/often. I need a phone that can withstand a reasonable amount of abuse, I would give the apple phone 3 days of working on a car before it breaks.

I don't think Apple products break that easily, I've had several in my days, and in college I even fell down an icy set of stairs with my laptop in hand, no case or anything. I didn't expect it to work because the metal was all scratched up and slightly dented from the fall, but still worked fine. My iPod also lasted 3 years before it got rid of it. Hell, my family has 2 really old POS macs from the early/mid 90s sitting around that still work fine.

In any case, the iPhone is pretty sweet, too bad I just got a music phone from cingular with a 2 year contract last month...

I do think the price is about $100 too much for most consumers though, hopefully they go down at the end of the year.

8gb for 600 dollars that is insane. Forget that.... That thing is to spendy for my blood. And besides most music phones have more space then that. wow spendy iphone I say.

when you consider the fact that when you pull up google maps it knows where you are, and can bring up traffic info, directions, and nearby listings (and one touch calling to those listings) the price is even nicer. Built in sat-nav! ;) well, sorta...
