There's no genealogy history of your families back around home? I don't know Jana's family but I would think that there is a history for the Dahlen name so you'd have that side covered.

I don't need this ancestry mumbo jumbo. It's just to try and link yourself to someone prominant in history. A sense of accomplishment without accomplishing anything at all. My last name is German. That's all I need/care to know.

No, it's to see where your roots came from. It was cool to find out when my family came to the US and where they came from.
