Most guys with really fastest 2.0ls, even street driven, are revving to 9000 or more. A T67 even on a 2.4l doesn't make good power until past 5000RPMs. A lot of these auto guys are running stalls higher than 5000RPMs. With an auto like that, you can cruise around at normal RPMs and when you floor it, the RPMs instantly shoot up to the stall point(say 5200RPMs) and you are right where the turbo needs to be to spool quickly.

My point is.........where would you rather see power? 4500 or 5000? And as you stated before Shane - they make BB T67s. Not knowing if it is or not, I'm sure that you could shave off a few more if it were. 4200rpm? Didn't sound like he was revving hi anyways............
If you want to be calling people asshats, I think I could point the finger to a few that can't simply post a mod list. Post and be done with it. Prove me wrong or right; the reason why this thread has gone on for so long is because everything is speculative.

Personally I want peak power where I am operating. If I don't fall below 5000rpm because I shift high, what is the point of having power below that?

I agree. I am coufused at what is even going on now.
First he is mad that the specs of this car arent listed. Then, he is mad that the car is claimed to be street driven but....what the hell, I dont even know.

That you should be at work^^^
I've heard that 3rd gen rx-7's are a blast to drive even if they are automatic just because the they shift so much quicker and stay in boost.
That is a sweet 1st gen auto though.

Why don't you believe what others are saying. Who cares about the mod list. I know I saw at least part of it on the dsmlink board, but I am not going to bother to retrieve it for you as it doesn't matter requardless. This car is proven and not just made up. What is so speculative about it. It is a lightened automatic with a big turbo, a race motor and AEM.

So speculative is a bad choice of wording. Yes, it's an auto, has a big turbo, and is built. That's all that's a given. I said speculative because I don't know what turbo HE IS running, nor anything else about the car.
This whole thread is just me bitchin about seeing what should have been given. Either he doesn't want the masses to know what setup he has or he didn't have time to add it in.

Well FUCK. You should have said something sooner and saved all of us the headache.
