I've always wanted to get a dsmlink system, well i just made out really good on a stock i just sold and had alittle extra cash it was going to go to pay of my debt but i put a lowball offer of $535 shipped for a v1 with eprom, i didn't need the eprom so i was just going to sell it for and try couple hundered out of it so alittle over $330 i couldn't pass that up. Well he accepted my offer. qoute- "535.00 is good. How would you like to pay for it? I
takepaypal"

so I send payment on it a few days later then I went and baught a cheap laptop off ebay for it. The next day I found the same dsmlink system on ebay then i bid it up really high to make sure no one will win it. Well long story behind it but he didn't know i was the one the bid the auction up really high. and now the lil bitch decided to return my money saying i never made sure it was okay to send the funds. Paypals making me pay for the damn fees because he refunded my money and next week I'm going to have a fucking laptop showing up at my doorstep.

I'm about ready to get me and my buddy and bid the damn auction up to like $10000 and see how lil fucker likes it when someonemakes a deal and runs away and u get stuck with the fees.

Bids on eBay are legally binding. Bidding up something is not only illegal, but you're damn lucky he doesn't make you pay the higher price for the DSMlink. Sell your DSM and your laptop and go buy a Honda.

LOL i'm not accually going to bid it up, everone takes everything so Literally
on this board. so serious on this board, but i guess its kinda hard to show sarcasm.

Even though there isn't shit you can do when some doesn't pay it happends all the time on ebay, twice to myself all you can do is contact ebay and if it happens enough times to one buyer they will cancel there account but then they just go start up a new one.

and when he accepted my offer and when i sent the payment that is also a legal contract made between when me and the seller according to the security section of paypals site. He voided it buy not sellling it to me but it goes back to the fact I didn't have a written contract made between me and the seller. Although i do have it in writting that he accpect my offer. but i don't really give a shit because i'm not going to take him to court or anything.

If anyone wants to buy a laptop now LMK.

right here you said that you bid it up really high so no one would buy it.... (this is what his is talking about) It still sucks. I would talk to the guy and say that you did the auction and tell him that if he won't sell you the dsmlink then he can pay the fees.

It's called using the "smilies". If you don't show/tell us your kidding and since we don't personally know you, how else should things be taken?

If you say you are going to do something, then we would think that unless you maybe add a little note or smilie. It's not that difficult.....

If I remember correctly, aren't you 16? What business do you have bidding on anything on ebay. Minors can't enter into legal contracts without parental consent. And I doubt your parents would allow you to do it on their accounts knowing that they would be responsible for it.

yea but i never placed a bid on it, well i guess i did but i retracted it right away to prevent getting into trouble. the only reason i put the bid down in in the first place is to prevent another person from buying it while he had my money but i figured i could get into more troble bidding it up. and you don't have to be 18 to use the trader, it just says you need parntal consent witch my parents don't really care.

In someways i think that is a bunch of bullshit. If i went out and shot someone right now i would be tried as an Adult, but if it was 1 day before my 18th birthday and i had a ebay acount in my name and put a bid in I would still be a minor.

But for real in this sitation who has the right-

person A finds the a ad for something on a non-ebay site and puts an offer in and the person accepts the offer. Person A sends payment but the seller had the item on ebay witch sold for more than person A payed. The seller wants to sell it to person the top bidder(B) If person A payed before the auction close shouldn't person A have ownership of the item at auction close therefore voiding the sale on ebay? and the seller just refund the person A's payment without reason then sell it to person B?

I would like to hear what people think on that.
