There is seriously a gremlin in my engine bay that loosens bolts.
He has unscrewed bolts that hold the tranny to the block, he has taken out my motor mount shafts causing my rear motor mount to completly break, he loosened my IC piping, which caused three of them to pop off, unscrewed the bolt that holds my ignition wire ground to the metal, and finally on the way to san bernadino (a half hour drive) he actually completly unscrewed the bolt to my FUCKING BRAKE CALIPER. Not to mencion he keeps drinking my coolent.
Im gonna catch that gremlin one day and he will wish he was never born.

Damn. That's one nasty gremlin you got there wandering around your engine bay. The one I have is just a tiny one that likes to drink coolant :D.
Those were standard equipment on all DSMs.

I dont like to guess, but i would say around 400. Hopefully, gawd i hope because if im not im gonna cry with all of the trouble ive had to deal with. Should get it on the dyno sometime soon.
Damn thats a lot of gremlins.
Seriously though, I have no idea why the fuck they are fucking with me that much. i mean SERIOUSLY A FUCKING BRAKE CALIPER BOLT!!! Luckly i was overheating at the time and needed to pull over because i hadnt noticed any problems until when i was stopping the car was shaking violently, i thought it was a problem with the motor thinking i had blown it, then as im sitting there waiting for my car to cool down with my friends, i was smokeing a cigarette and i looked down at the wheel and instantly a tear fell from my eye as i looked at my brake caliper rubbing against the inside of my wheel. Thankfully the dsm gods were on my side and i happened to have a bucket of bolts in my car and i just happened to have an extra bolt that fit perfectly, as i said before i was about 40 miles from my house and it was night time on the side of a busy highway.
Since then ive managed to slow down the coolent diet, fixed the leaks, and locktited any of the bolts that had been loose, but dsms have a lot of bolts and it seems that the gremlins have moved inside the car into the wireing as my car wont start because something is bad on the wires when i turn the car on everything will come on but when i try and start the car NOTHING happens. no clicking, doesnt even try to turn on. so now its 1am and im sitting here thinking as to how im planning on getting to work tomorrow, and if i should even bother walking out to the garage.
Just to add, All of the fuses are fine, one of the wires coming from the ignition gets really hot after trying to start it, and sometimes it trys to turn over but then stops.
SO CONFUSED.
My friend keeps telling me to go to home depot............................ to get a for sale sign. :(

Sorry to hear about all your troubles; your friends might be right :( Once a DSM goes on the downward spiral there is no stopping it.

I have some of those too! My AC tensioner bolt is missing and also the 2 Nuts on the alternator were missing too. Have no Idea where they went and I know I put them in! But those are not nearly as bad as yours.

Did you torque them to spec :)
Sounds like your still having fun with dsm's. I agree with your friends though, go to home depot.

Remove balance shafts, install lumpy cams, install stiffer motor mounts, watch car unbolt itself.
