I am finished with the swap but the car wont start. I have done all that i can think of.. any help here? Order of plug wires and where they go on the 1g motor and coils.

Does it even try and crank over? I had the same problem and I somehow messed up on the CAS. I wired 2 wires wrong.

Ya it cranks over. I put the one wire in the rectangle plug and the other three into the triangle plug. Any ideas or hints? Please let me know I need this done. You know how that goes.

I used the 1g coils. Should I use the 2g ones and please help me out on the wiring with them.

What does everyone suggest for the coils. 1g or 2g for the swap?

Isn't there something that needs to be inverted depending on the year of your car (i.e. especially 95-96). Double & triple check your wiring, that is probably the problem.

I did do the wiring with the CAS by wiring in the one wire to the rectangle plug and the other three wires to the triangle plug. It seems like it fires one or 2 cylinders every once and a while but wont start all the way. sorry for the lack of knowledge here and thanks for the help.

Have you checked the timing? When i did mine i found the Distributor in 180 degrees off. Its a Easy mistake to miss

Do you think that would hapen if I just took off a working head off of a 91 tsi turbo and bolted it right on without any cas removal?

i work for a dealership its just something the guys here had me check on my car and it worked so i would ck the timing. Those engines are pretty easy to time as well. Otherwise ck for fuel pressure..
