Have you checked the timing? When i did mine i found the Distributor in 180 degrees off. Its a Easy mistake to miss
These cars don't have a distributor, although the CAS can be 180 degrees off.
It sounds like the plug wires are in the wrong order. Looking at the 1G coils, it should go from left to right 4-1-2-3. Cylinder four is the tranny side of the engine.

Ok so I tryed all of the wiring and fell back to where I was. This must mean that I had it right the first time. It turns over and sputters but just wont go. It no longer puffs or backfires out of the intake so I am sure everything is right. The timing has to be on because the head wasnt messed with off of the new 6 bolt. Also I was thinking can a CAS start to go bad but sputter some times? There is spark as well so I have no clue what is going on here. Any advise is appreciated.

When you purchased the 6 bolt longblock, did you physically see it run to where your above statement can be assumed true?

If you can't get this going by saturday, I'll swing over since I'll be in the area.

Ok so I have wired everything right. I have spark, fuel, and car wants to try and fire a bit but no start. Could the CAS be shot where is gives a spark but doesnt run? Help here please.

Yes, I'd try another CAS. Mine went out once when I got some water on it.

Did it make it kind of want to start but just didnt. And did it also have spark?

Well is there anyone that has a CAS that I can use for a few minutes to test it out?

Ok so I rechecked the timing and that is right on. The CAS is right on as well. I was trying to start it for a bit and noticed that the manifold was warm after a few minutes. Remember the car doesnt start but just parely trys to fire. Any ideas for this?
