Definitely both proven very well. Just out of curious for the old codgers around here, has FP ever had a truly shitty turbo?

I've never seen one. There new stuff is much better than the old, but for the times, the old stuff was pretty damm good as well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but arent the red and green turbos nothing more than garret 50 trim and 60-1 (cant remember which is which) center sections with FP's mitsu bolt up turbine housing?

They have Mitsu exhaust wheels also, which were quite a bit better than the normal Garrett exhaust wheels. The GT Garrett exhaust wheels nowdays are good though also.
