Since it's the 4th of July weekend, I may head on over to the event. Anyone else planning on going?

That does look kinda cool. It's too bad its 6 hours away, I'm not sure I could afford a tow that far if things went wrong.
The street stock class describes my car perfectly though, and I think I could be extremely competetive in that class.

Why don't you just rent a dolly then and borrow a truck then. That way you wouldn't have to drain for race gas or worry about breaking.

Hmmmm I am off that day. Anybody up for a road trip to watch? This might be worth the drive.

Considering what AMS' Evo has been doing lately, it could be very interesting to see what happens.

the idea of going is very tempting to call in sick for work

Nah, I'm tapped out. I'm already running a different car in a different event the day before. I'd really only go to this if it were a 2-3 hour drive. That and the fact that towing a car to an event takes a lot of the fun out of it.

I might go to run in the street modified class, we'll see.
