Comp 101200's are the same grind as the FP2's
Are you positive about that? I know that FP cams are manufactured by Comp but I thought that what FP sells is not available under the Comp name?

Well, thats what a pretty knowledgable guy on AF said. He said something like Fp sorta bought the rights to those cams to sell under their name. I'll check on that.

Hmmmm, thats interesting. So they are pretty close but not exactly alike? Would going with the 101200's be a bad choice considering they are $360 shipped on eBay compared to $430 +shipping from FP?

i also read something from Robert saying Comp switched their cams over to the FP spec centerlines, so now they sell exactly the same product. :)
I run Crower 415's with Crower spings and didn't have a problem at 8k with the springs. You should be fine with any of the cams listed above and the crower springs. Get too big and you will need to check the clearance to the guides. I had to have mine shaved down a bit with the big cams in there.
Idle sounds really nice at 1,200 rpm (bad ISC motor) and it never dies at stop lights or anything.

RRE tells me that the HKS 280s won't be available until the end of June, taking preorders right now.
