Was driving over to get a new tire put on my 2G cause the tread was thin and my A/T tranny started slipping!

Pulled into an SA and poured some tranny fluid in cause so was a bit low, and it got better, and I tough I had it fixed until I tried to drive to Inver grove from Maplewood and it started slipping REAL bad, I barely was able to coast the POS into the garage!

4 days......

4 days is how long I had my 2G running this year before something else major broke. Last year I went out 10 times till my SBR turbo blew up!

I really don't know what I'm going to do now, but I KNOW this A/T is GONE for sure!

I've got the TCUGO and the new-reworked IPT valve body and Stall coming right now! IPT can build me a nice A/T race tranny BUT that's ANOTHER $2800 into this damm money pit!

I may just punt this summer and drive the old stock 1G and leave the Damm 2G sit ANOTHER damm year?

Or if I can find a good, low mile A/T for cheap I might do that as well?

Anyway, I'm getting pretty frustrated with the whole deal, I'd just like to get out from under it and buy a new stock Evo under warranty and leave it that way.

This happened BEFORE I did any TCUGO tranny mods?

Th car has 80k on it, the filter and fluid was just changed 10k ago, and I'm not making that much power with a T-28?

What a POS!

This really sucks...

How do you know your tranny fluid was low? How low was it? You do realize you have to shift through all of the gears to fill everything necessary THEN check your fluid while the car is still on. That's how you get an accurate measurement of hydraulic fluid in your tranny :P

Slip? What kind.. what gears.. A/t trannies arent that complicated. It could be something as simple to remove as a clogged valve in your valve body. More than likely its a clutch pack or something though :(

I did all that and it was just a little low, it's slipping bad in ALL the gears, I'm hosed, again.........:-<

Hell no, either I'm going to put in a used low mile stock tranny for about $1300 or I'll have IPT build a race A/T tranny for about twice that.

I'm sure not gonna take a bath on the whole deal and just junk this clean car?
