I just got in from wrenching on the DSM. I finaly cleaned the garage so I could push mine in to be worked on. Mainly focused on some cosmetic shit that needs to be taken care of, prepping some parts to be painted. The bigger problem is that I don't know what exactly is wrong with my engine but I am going to guess a spun bearing. I miss shifted from third to second last fall, the day after that the car started to make awful sounds.
It would be nice if someone with some DSM experience could swing by and listen to the car after I start it up and give me their opinion. I'd like to get someone elses opinion on what might be wrong before I commit myself to doing a teardown. I am pretty knowledgeable about cars in general but this one has me stumped. Free beer to anyone who swings over. :)

Looks like I need to do some tranny work now. Case has a hairline crack in it from the Center Diff Pin backing out.

I get back from school beginning of may, so both of my cars are undergoing some serious wrench time from the 2nd week of may all the way up until the last week of august when I move back up to St. Cloud for school.
