The Good: The engine is in great shape. The valves don't even tick nearly as bad as a normal DSM. The turbo boosts to stock PSI (according to the stock crappy boost gauge) and pulls VERY smooth like it should. The engine does not smoke AT ALL. It starts every time and the transmission shifts perfect. It has a new clutch and new front brakes and the AC was recently fixed before I got it. It has always (to my knowledge) been in stock form and still is.
The Bad: The engine has a minor idling problem. I think this is due to a small vacuum leak due to the stock 16 year old lines. The engine NEVER dies and like I said always starts, whether it's hot or cold. The body could be in better shape, in fact the DS door is opened with a wire =D The front tires need to be changed right away, the DS tire is in really bad shape. The digital thermometer needs to be fixed (easy fix) I know that this is the problem for a fact because it'll pop up to hot and down to medium literally less than a second when I hit a bump.
Summary: Like I said the engine is in great shape and the tranny shifts fine. I got it for a winter vehicle and ended up getting a Subaru Legacy Turbo for the winter before getting snow tires. I was personally confident this car would have made it through the winter, in fact I drove it up to canada 6 months ago right after buying it and she ran fine there and back.
I'll post pictures when I have a chance, it's blue.
