Here we go

Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. I currently own a 92 Mitsubishi Mirage and I'm in the process of dropping in a 4g61t, and later on, a 4g63t. Since I'll be needing a lot of parts for the swaps, I'll probably need some help from the guys on here. I also need to know exactly what parts I'll need for the 61t swap. I've been getting different answers from everyone so I've been looking for a definate answer. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome. Mirages are definitely unique. Hope to see it in the Twin Cities sometime.

Re: Here we go

People here would know more about the 4g63 than the 4g61 since our cars have the 4g63.

Re: Here we go

I would just have to ask why swap engines twice, couldn't you just go straight to the 4g63t? they can be found cheap enough and I imagine the glitches would be the same as a 61t after the swap.
Good luck though, I have always wanted to do this with a colt, but I really hate FWD...

Re: Here we go

well, I got a 4g61t for $125 and if I could find a 4g63t for that price I'd definately go for it. But, thanks for the welcoming words everyone and I'll try to update any progress on the car. My sister lives down in the twin cities so don't be surprised if I'm down there every once in a while.
