Alright
So the last few days when I have started up my car, I've had this really bad, egg/sulfur smell. I goes away after awhile (or I'm moving fast enough to say away from it)
so I'm not sure whats causing it
I have a 92 talon AWD
small16g, 2.5" downpipe and 3" testpipe back (i do not have a catalytic converter :/) i have been running ammaco 92, and somtimes shell 91 non-oxygenated.
still have the stock 1g exhaust manifold.
If you need any more info about the car, let me know
I don't know if this problem is a big deal or not
Thanks
Cole

That's what I was thinking too, except that I read his post. :stick:

Are you POSITIVE that you don't have a cat anymore? What you described is exactly what a cat smells like.

I have a big 2 foot section of 3" piping right after the downpipe (like a test pipe) but yeah it does smell and I also would have thought it was the cat if i had one,
I have had this exhaust for about 2 months. I bought it used from somone
It's made out of mid grade steel, I does have a small hole in it right before the muffler and my o2 housing is not completely secured down (becuase one of the bolts broke off in my turbo.
anyways thats all the info. again it dosn't do it all the time. just somtimes more noticably then others.
and if it's not a really big deal, or liek it won''t affect anything. I won't worry about it
thanks

well as far as beating it goes, I don't a whole lot (or at least not for awhile)
mostly I "beat" on it when I'm making 3rd gear pulls for tuning purposes but i haven't done that for awhile :/

It WAS in my car and I have no cat. I haven't noticed it for a while (~1yr). I can defenitly tell if I am behind a DSM without a cat. They stink. I wouldn't worry.
