Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

Has any one heard any thing about the Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim Turbo? MAP has them so maybe some one from map would be able to tell me if they are any good? they are really cheap.

Re: Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

i have had 2 of the exhause wheel fall apart for no reason on stock manifolds...imo opinion i would go with something else, im sure map has got a load of different turbos...

btw bullseye will not fix wheels that were damaged because of craftsmanship, i have been down this road thats why i have two 50 trims that are now useless...

I got a friend that has one on his BP swapped 94 Protege, he seems to like it but they are known for surging pretty badly.

Re: Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

I really dont want an 16g, i have a 60 trim right now but it creeps so i can only run 15 psi and i think it's my cause for loss of oil.

Re: Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

The v-trim performs awesome and doesn't need a lot of boost to make 350 to 400 hp. But they need a lot of maintenance. I had a turbine blade break at only 3,000 miles. Also, for whatever reason manifold to turbo bolts and o2 housing bolts frequently get seized and break. Maybe a weird metal composition with a large range of thermal expansion and contraction...

Dear sir are you implying that the 60trim is burning oil? boost creep and oil loss don't have a lot in common.

Re: Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

i dont boost creep at all now, shane tuned it to 15 psi so it just hits that and holds it. I wasnt connecting the boost creep with the oil loss but i was connecting the oil loss with the turbo because its the only shitty thing under the hood. it either needs a rebuild or to be replaced and idk where else id be loosing oil. the oil catch can is always empty, i dont leak oil, my internals are forged so idk.

Re: Bullseye-Power T04B V Trim good or bad?

I am running a t04b v-trim and it's ok I haven't gotten my car running good enough to get it tuned yet to see what it can actually do. but I can say I have dealt with the bolts siezing in it and the only reason I bought it is cause I got a hell of a deal on it from someone I know
