WTB/Borrow Dell Laptop CD drive

My CD drive for my laptop died forever ago. Now I need one. Just seeing if anybody has one that I can borrow (need to install XP) or buy if you don't need it.

Laptop is a Dell Latitude CPx, and needs a drive like this:

I have a Dell C400 that has an external CD-ROM Bay. Not sure if it'll work on yours. You can see what the bay and cable kind of look like in the link below. The connector on it is some sort of special connector only for Dell's I believe. If you think it'll work, you can borrow it for awhile.

I don't think that will work. The BIOS doesn't support external boot (I was going to try USB), and I don't think mine has the connector for that one. Thanks for the offer though.

I bit the bullet an bought a new CD ROM drive for $14 shipped. Hope it gets here by Friday. If anyone else has a drive that will work let me know, if my "new" one doesn't show up I'll definitely want to borrow one and get my laptop running over the weekend. I want to setup and verify everything in the AEM before tunning time. Just want to make sure things go as smooth as possible.
