Fixing boost leak by the injectors

I have a boost leak by the injectors on my GSX. I took apart the ones on my GS and there seems to be Three seals, one by the head, the other is an O ring on top and there is one below that one. I went to red rooster and on the computer they said I would need two sets of O rings for the GSX. I am confused I know there is one located near the top of the injector but where does the second one go? I thought there was another seal besides the O rign inbetween the injector and the head but red rooster doesn't carry it and they said probably I won't need it. Is this true and I should only replace the O rings? Where is this second O ring located? Third I should probably replace the third one which looks like rides inbetween the fuel rail and the injector but who would carry that?

Re: Fixing boost leak by the injectors

Go to Mitsubishi get all four of the lower seals if you have stock injectors. unless you have fuel leaking out of the top o-rings you would not need them.

Re: Fixing boost leak by the injectors

Got it. I should just go to mitsubishi in the first place. It seems sometimes that these other autoparts stores just don't know what the heck I am talking about. It gets me fustrated that they work there.

Re: Fixing boost leak by the injectors

I had the same deal on my Tsi, set of seals and insulators fixed it for me.

Be careful not to drop them down through the manifold when you put them in!
