Hello everyone. I am new to this board as you may not recognize my username. I stumbled upon a local dsm stie at school (dsmstyle.com). The site seems pretty cool. When I came home, I typed in the same address (atleast I thought) and found this site. So far this site seems pretty cool. I have a 1992 eagle talon tsi awd. I have just started modding and here is what I have:
k & n filter
hacked mas
dejon tool intake pipe
Hallman mbc (19-20 psi)
ported big 16g turbo w/ 34mm wastegate flapper and polished compressor housing
lower ic pipe
rc 550cc injectors
Apexi SAFC
walbro 255 high pressure pump
buschur AFPR setup with gauge
buschur upper ic pipe with 2g t-body elbow
hks 264 cams
ported 2g exhaust manifold
o2 housing with atmospheric dump
2.5-3" downpipe
3" testpipe
3" mandrel catback
hks type 1 turbo timer
boost and a/f gauge
dattalogger with TMO software
msd dis 2 ignition
and what ever I forgot
I plan on upgrading to a fmic, 660's, and a PTE 50 trim this spring. I do not have any pictures of my car on my computer yet. I will upload them soon. Nice to meet all of you. BTW, you all have similar names to the people on the other site I found at school. Hmmmm...
John

Yeah for some reason that happens to alot of people. We just moved to PHP like a week ago so that is why we don't have much info yet and you are having problems. But it is the same site. And welcome your ride sounds sweet.... keep up the good work.

It looks like you've done a little bit more than "just start" modding, it's all good

No, I have just started. Unless I break, I will not stop until I hit 11's. Still don't know what I run now though.
BTW, I love the new smilies :bj:

Well you've definitely got on hell of a start. It looks like it may be time for a larger clutch pretty soon with you mod list and future mods? Did you ever get that AMS front mount?

Yeah, clutch is my next upgrade. It slipps until just over 6800 rpm in first. I will probably get a ACT 2600. I should get the fmic kit in the next couple of days. I am not really in a hurry to install though. I will probly install it along with a clutch in the middle of the winter. For this spring, I plan on a PTE 50 trim, fmic, clutch, 660's, and hook up my 2g mas. I should should be easy 12's then.

I'm guessing that he would still like to be able to comfortably drive his car on an everyday basis Mike! :blah:

Yeah, I would but I have started a little of Mike's performance. I have the back seat out, spare tire, and all metal brackets. Pretty much all I have behind the driver is the seatbelts and the side panels. Not sure how long I will keep it like this though. May put it all back for the winter.
My car isn't tuned at all right now since Rick's.The only boost leak I had before was at my sidemount. I would still idle 18 hg vac at idle. Now, I idle 12-14 vaccum and I cannot hold boost. 19-17-19. I dont plan on doing much for performance until the spring. Just hope to get everything fixed.
