I haven't looked into it, but is that safe? If the rev limiter is at 7,500 RPMs, and you don't lift your foot off the gas and shift close to 7,500, even if you weren't fast, would the engine have a chance of blowing? I know it can happen the RPMs are lower and get enough momentum, ala Bobby, but would that happen if you do it right at the cut off?

I haven't looked into it, but I'm sure there is an art to it.

If you're shifting a stock turbo Evo that high you will most certainly not be in the 10s. Gotta shift under the curve.
