Its on EvoM in the X section. Look for AMS's thread, it should be near the top in Evo X General.

From here (AMS): http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=322325

and here (AGP): http://forums.evolutionm.net/showpos...&postcount=152

"The injectors are a high impedance saturated type injector. They measure 12.3ohms and are a disc style tip. This is all bad news for upgrading injectors because almost all large injectors are low imp peak hold. And here’s the real funky part. It’s got this long protruded tip because the injector boss hole is very deep. See pic-"

"The GREAT news is that none of this will matter to most EVO X owners. We got one of the injectors flowed down the street at AZ TPI and they are 650cc. I took a crappy camera phone pic of the spray pattern.-"

Re: EvoX Dyno Numbers have arrived!!

Looks like it could be pretty costly for people to upgrade the injectors on the Xs

Vishnu is using a modified version of their Procede to tune the X. This is with stock exhaust!

Shiv says this is equivelant to a tuned IX with TBE on that dyno. Impressive!

-Engine still makes power in the presence of detonation events (which is not good of course). The 4G63 would behave differently by immediately yanking back several degrees of timing and 20-30lbft of torque. Not sure why the ECU in the X isn't as reactive to knock a the older ECUs. One interesting thing I noticed is that the tachometer movement becomes "sticky" when accelerating during audible knock activity. Haven't seen that before.
-Engine tends to detonation at fuel cut. We had to enrich and retard the last 300rpm prior to fuel cut to prevent this from happening.

Re: EvoX Dyno Numbers have arrived!!

Also, good info:

The 15g turbo on the X is smaller than the evo 9 16g but is making good power anyways....the cool thing is that its NOT REVERSE SCROLL like the VIII and IX turbos, it is in fact a clockwise scrolling twin scroll turbo, so a standard 20G that we've been using on DSM's for years could be a potential upgrade....at the very least, a 20G compressor wheel should be able to be put onto this stock turbo......WOOT!

I see a new era of frankenstein turbos, stock hotside with a 50-trim and bigger compressor wheel?!?!

Hmmmmmmmm, it's so tempting. Not very smart on my part, but I haven't had a car payment for almost ten years.
