Another Mitsu
Well this one isn't really much of a project, it's more of a bigger comfy car that will fit my baby boy better. It's a 2004 Galant, has 80,061 miles on it when we picked it up, has the 3.8L V6, got it for $7,000. We sold Emily's Trailblazer and picked this sucker up so we could have twice the mileage and half the car payment. It actually rides damn nice, reminds me of a Buick or a Caddy. No plans really, maybe some tinted windows, tinting the tails is a possibility, maybe toss my wheels on it for a few days just to see what it looks like.
And of course the big ole child friendly back seat!! lol
This is actually with the seats pretty damn far back too.

Re: Another Mitsu
I'd throw some nice wheels on it with some tint and call it good. Possibly an intake.

Re: Another Mitsu
One of my friends use to have one and I drove it a few times. They're nice cars. The one I drove had the 4 banger though. How's the V6 for power and smoothness?

Re: Another Mitsu
right now it's too damn snowy, just keeps spinning even with the traction control, I guess I'll have to wait to see how much this thing has in it power wise.
Here's a pic from discount tire's web site with my WRX rims on it, mine are 18's though.

Re: Another Mitsu
Meaty snow tires will solve that wheel-spinning problem. I put general's on anna's car last fall and she doesn't wanna take them off come spring!
Looks good...tinted tails, blacked out headlights, limo tint on the windows, dropped, and 19's, game on.
Or just drive it, nice car!

Damn you, Uzbek!
With a couple of mods, you can make the 9G pretty decent looking.

Re: Another Mitsu
Well, it's about a 99.713% chance that this thing will stay bone ass stock since it is the wifey's car haha.

Re: Another Mitsu
Well, as some of you may know, this fucker threw a timing belt last week. Good ol' interference motor too. Worst part was that the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley were all serviced at 60,000 as per recommendation, and the car only had 99,000 on it. I'm thinking either the tensioner or the water pump was the culprit, I will find out when I get a chance to dig into the old motor this winter.
Anyways, a guy I know got us a used motor with 60k on it for a decent price and its back on the road again with all new timing components, etc.

Re: Another Mitsu
Good job getting it back on the road so quick. Hopefully you can rebuild the stocker for cheap and sell it for not much of a loss in the end.
