Egr
Can I leave the egr off and just bolt a plate on it or do I need to have the egr on it?

Re: Egr
Year/Model info? Supply more info before you ask a semi-vague question please. As long as you have a thick blockoff plate, you just bolt that in place of the EGR valve, then rip out the valve, canister, and everything associated with it. If you have a 2g, unless you do a little research, you will throw a CEL. On a 1g, this will cause no problems.

Re: Egr
FFWD's looks good to me. I used the stainless steel one they used to sell. Good quality and very fast shipping.

Re: Egr
Just as a side note, seeing you ask a question like this when you work at a "huge speed shop" and have a car like you described in your introduction thread,

Yup, but they say QPR on them...might get your car bombed or something.
We are looking into having the etching removed, just not enough time recently w/the move.

Ok, so u think I am full of B.S. about what I have. I was just curious about whether or not it cause any problems... maybe I should have been more clear. I do have everything I listed and I do work at a huge shop.
For those actually posted with an answer to this question...thanks...for those that posted just to be a d**k or to be a post whore...thanks for nothing!

Relax man. It's just an awefully basic question for someone of you stature. Don't take it too personally, we're tough on newcomers around here!
