Admittedly, I am simply not a 1g guy. This is the primary reason for sale.

93 Talon TSi awd 5 speed (may 1992 IIRC)
68k miles, previously a TX car, absolutely no rust. I have the full history on the car, which includes awaiting a fat stack of receipts from the owner's widow.. Car is in my name, clear title and history. I am in contact with the owner's widow, and she has a full folder of receipts on the trans, engine, and Mitsu dealer. The dash is not cracked or deformed. Every single fastener loosens on command, and not even bolt heads have surface rust.

6 bolt- CP pistons, Manley rods. 8:1. OEM BSE, pump was new OEM, 90 OFH w/ Setrab cooler and earl's 10an hardware, OEM hg. Built using OEM parts anywhere else; timing, water pump, thermostat, intake/exh/etc gaskets. 2g manifold, ARP exhaust studs. Diamond star Mitsubishi valve cover. Timing covers like new. The head was new OEM.

Trans- TRE STG4, NOT WELDED, it's their LSD, quite a bit of obvious difference in the two, in my opinion, prefer the LSD $2600 new, not considering core cost, time, shipping. Very tight and you can really feel the difference of the Evo gears.

fender: drunk driver pushed into the fender slightly, the fender pulls back to normal, but needs to be loosened and adjusted. There is a little folding on part of the door surface. I find this to be the only leveraging detail on the car, from the buyer's perspective.
shifter base bushings are what you'd expect from dried out rubber in the desert from 1993. No grinds, or any bs, simply wobbly and mushy. Cables glide well.
A/C belt squeals under 30F, new gates included
rear defrost switch is stuck on, I pulled the fuse for safety in this Hoth environment
could use a full buffing, and a 3m kit on the headlights
battery is in the trunk, wired cleanly, but is quite weak in the cold. I do not drive the car on snow, so it may be from sitting.

In summation, I find the car to be one of the last 1gs worthwhile owning, which is why I acquired it. The ac is complete, and works, which is mind boggling on a built 1g. Cruise works well, but the cruise cable is a bit catchy, should be lubed. Oh, and it doesn't even have 69000 miles on it, and it looks like new underneath.

Reason for sale: I'll be leaving for graduate school in the summer, and possibly Abu Dhabi for 2 years. I was thinking about getting an sc400 to last me until then, and have the gf drive that. An 11 second dsm isn't my gf friendly.
I also would be interested in trading for a high end small block Chevy engine for my '56 Belair.

My price is 5000, which includes a 95 gst parts car that I don't have the time to part out. I feel this is a fair ballpark for this car, and the local market, based on the 150k bolt-on 1ga that sold for 4500 in Rochester a few months ago, and the nice rollers on here of late that are near the 2k mark with double the miles and a midwest history. It needs some wrench time, which I will be putting into it at my pace, especially if one were to go SD and corn, and a day trip to Upull for some interior parts. On the other hand, you're buying a 1g that's ready for low 11s, doesn't have holes in the rockers or wheel wells, and has half the mileage of most evos.

I've had it listed for a week, and have had overwhelming interest and requests for lower prices by removing some go fast parts. Although, taxes haven't hit in force, so everyone wants to trade me their pocket change and $5-6k truck, or wants a hold. I am not interested in 99% trades, and unfortunately cash is king; I won't hold the car for anyone to miss a potential cash sale. Also, if you're using the cliché of "I'm looking at a few, will you go down," my response is to look at the others first, and come to me if you find yourself disappointed.
