Does anyone locally rebuild AWD trannys?

Now that Shindley is down for the count, does anyone else locally rebuild trannies for a reasonable price?

www.shepracing.com
We'll do vc swaps, output shaft installs, and diff installs.
We do not pull apart gear sets.

Re: Does anyone locally rebuild AWD trannys?

I have a couple of different trannies, the one I really want to rebuild is a 92 AWD and just needs a standard rebuild (synchros, bearings, etc)

I talked to Shindley maybe two weeks ago. He's not working on ANYONE's car, he finally got his engineering job he wanted.

Was there anything wrong with the trans that will add to your parts list? Grindy second, etc. Are you looking for wide open throttle shifts at 8,000 or is this going to be behind a daily driver type motor? Those are things to consider before ordering your parts.
