Blue 1994 Thunderbird LX with 4.6L V8. Purchased in 1997 with 38k miles on it. Only drove it summers. Currently has 119k miles on it. Great daily driver - would not be afraid to drive it across the country! Reason for selling: have 3 cars, will be receiving another by December. Need to downsize!! Have a friend willing to buy it for around $1200 so don't be afraid to make an offer!!
The good:
Smooth running V8 engine uses very little oil - when it's time to add a quart, it's time to change it.
AC could use a charge but ACTUALLY WORKS!! (RARE for a car under $3000, right?)
All options work except for radio/CD which operates but is a bit flakey. Can include the original Ford AM/FM/Cassette if desired.
Newer tires with less than 15k miles on them.
1994 only supercoupe style front end and 1994 only cuisinart style wheels.
1997 center console with CUPHOLDERS!! ^_^
The bad:
Starter switch on steering column is loose but works fine. Common in Ford products of this vintage.
Radio needs repair or replacement (see above)
AC works but to be really COLD needs a charge of gas.
The ugly:
Clearcoat is flaking off of roof and trunk lid.
Small spot of rust behind passenger side door.
Driver's side seat frame broke, replaced with tan leather seat. Have original blue cloth seat if desired.
