90 Eclipse N/T - $200

1990 Eclipse 2.0 N/T Manual
4A3CT64U4LE103074
Red

Body is in pretty decent shape. Shifted good. The problem is the motor. It was badly overheated and now has no compression. I think the rings lost their tension. It ran real good before this happened.
It overheated due to a leaking radiator.
Brakes(calipers, rotors, pads) are new, new front shocks, new battery.
Vehicle has approx 170 or so on it (doesnt have orig cluster) motor is a JDM w/ about 30k on it since i put it in.

Vehicle is dead on the road. Must be towed away.
Also, the radio will be taken out.

Anybody interested?

Re: 90 Eclipse N/T - $200

Fairly spendy for a N/T with a blown motor.
No compression after overheat? Does it crank over?
Where is it located? 2.0 or 1.8? I might be interested in it for parts.

It is the 4g63 2.0. It cranks fast, like when a TB breaks...it was driven until the engine wouldnt get any hotter (not me) and now cranks fast...sounds like rings to me?

It is located on 96 off of 35E

100 dollars and I might go for it.

I'd only use it for parts.

EDIT: Too bad it's not closer.

I wish I still had my extra 4g63 short block lying around. I sold it to dark shadow, i think he's a member on here, he might be interested.

Grab me some pics. I might pick this up and find a motor for it. I mish my 1G non turbo, that was a fun little car. Red too lol.
