Have you checked with MAS and TNT? They both have a lot of AN fittings, but they're a little light on the metric stuff.

Nope, I'll check with them.

Anyone else have any options?

I have a -8AN to 12mm x 1.5 and then a female -8 to female -6 union adapter. Might not be cheaper than $20 from summit though. TNT usually has a lot of AN fittings.

Last time I went to TNT, they did not have that fitting either, but said they could get it from Earl's pretty quickly. Might be worth giving them a ring.

Actually hey Mo, I have an extra one laying here as I had bought the wrong one. What exactly do you need? Male -6AN, Male or Female 12mm 1.5???

I have one of these laying around at home

That's exactly what I need. Not sure about the nickel plating, but this is for the Bosch pump outlet. So male 12mm x 1.5 and male -6AN. Is yours nickel plated(don't think I need/want that)? I'll probably take it off your hands.

yes it is the exact one in that link. Back in the day when I bought it, the regular aluminum blue ones were out of stock, so I got this one. Then sure enough when I went to use it, it was the wrong thread. So now it's just sitting here. If you want it just come get it. I'll let you have it.

Re: -6AN to 12mm x 1.5 fitting NEEDED

Anyone have any idea if a nickel plated fitting and a black anodized fitting will be compatible within the gas tank?

I'm basically doing this:
http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167359

So need to know if this nickel plated fitting will work OK with the Bosch pump and the black anodized aluminum union it will be mated to.

If so, Brandon I'll pick it up on Monday probably.

Mo, here's the only real info I can find on it.

http://www.russellperformance.com/mc...straight.shtml

Basically it looks like they call this style the Endura finish. It refers to them as the same fittings, just a different finish. And they mention they are designed to match up with all russell hose ends. That's about all I know about it. I personally planned on using it to screw into the OEM fuel filter on one end, and a black anodized hose end to screw on the other end. So I guess I was really going to test it's compatibility

OK, just got off the phone with Edelbrock/Russell. The guy wasn't the most informed.. but he said he/they wouldn't suggest mating those two finishes, specially because it will all be submerged in the tank/fuel. So I guess I'll have to pass, but thank you very much for offering Brandon.

If anyone else has anything, let me know. Otherwise I just have to wait for the 11/07/08 back order part to come into stock.

Edit: Also just called MAS.. no dice, TNT.. was on hold for 5 minutes = no dice, and S&S.. no dice.
