I can give you a ride in mine if you want...the lag isn't too bad, you just have to change shift points.

This thread isn't about the FP Black murlo

This turbo is probably real-world just inbetween the fp red and black; a nice happy spot.

I know, I was side commenting on your goal of 400whp on DB's dyno on pump...sorry..i shall be quiet.

I think this turbo is still a great turbo though...I'd love a ride in a properly prepped 8/9 with one. I bet it hauls ass.

Murlo, it is a good side comment in a way because it is a choice people will face. However, your comments don't really apply directly seeing as you have an X with mivec and not an evo8 w/o mivec An FP Black will not spool up at 4100rpm on an evo8 and everyone knows it.

Aaron, not even sure what to say. Tech section dude; on topic please

Oh i know, the side comment was for your X

I think the BBK-B or the FPblack will hit 400whp on pump with some meaty cams on an 8 at DB but not much over that imo. I look at enough 8/9 charts to know what they do too

Re: CBRD BBK-B aka BBK-XL turbo

Yes I get it, but this turbo is not for the X, it is for the evo4-9. Different powerbands, different cars, rides are pointless except for grins

Re: CBRD BBK-B aka BBK-XL turbo

Sorry only Matt D's post was up when I said that.

OT - turbo looks pretty awesome, so BBK has a full line up with the last letter designating turbo size/ability?

Oh right, I forgot I said I'd give him a ride, lol. Yea, Jakes car would be a better idea on the lag than mine

Mods

Toxic Fab o2 {thumbup}
TurboTrix Drop in piston/rod
FIC 850s
TXS/HyperFlow FMIC
Kelford 280s
Hallman MBC

Next round will include SD and a GMS BCS. I expect faster spool and better top end power. I cant wait!! This turbo is by far my favorite bolt in. The car is an absolute blast to drive. Feels like a stock turbo hitting and then it just rips up the top end. Nice work CBRD
