Yeah it should work this year, I was hoping to touch the 170's once all was said and done but I wont be able to rev the thing out to do that, so mid 160's is probably all I can touch this year if all goes well

Re: The Chase For 8's

Well shit, been a while since I posted anything. But this was big leap forward getting the car done. I dropped it off at MadFab in Fargo a few weeks ago to see if they could whip something up to shoe horn this big turbo into place, and needless to say they killed it. This is their off the shelf Turbo Manifold with a minor tweak to fit the Large Frame PTE turbo's.

They made the whole turbo kit, Intercooler piping, modified my big ETS 6" intercooler for a 3.5" cold side pipe. and Tweaked the the bolt on support to fit my half radiator where a smaller core once was.

I'm super happy with how it all turned out and cant wait to do the mad dash of trying to get it finished for PG1

oh man, that looks way better on a computer vs smartphone.

I know you aren't letting on about that turbo, but it looks like a fucking monster.

Seriously I'm super impressed with the build. I can't wait to see this in action at the track! Good luck with the rest of the build, keep sharing your progress too!

Thanks guys! I'm super happy with how it turned out so far. I was working on tearing the rear diff out of my other shell today. Got back late though so didnt get it out yet. Cant get a ball joint to come out to get the axles out so I have to try to go get a pickle fork or something tomorrow, I hope to have the rear diff in tomorrow evening unless I end up getting called into work.

I might order the suspension too, but I need to look around at options a bit. I was going to go with STM Spec D2's but I want to give Boostin a call and see what they recommend

I have a fork and a ball joint separating tool if you want to borrow them. I'm in Blaine off 65 & main st.

I'm going to use 2150 primaries and start with 1000cc secondaries and see where that gets me for fuel this year
