Looking for 2gb 97-99 sensors for cam and crank or whatever it is they run so I can put my plastic ecu into my 96 car.

Re: WTB: 2gb sensors

I thought the crank sensor was the same, but the cam sensor went on the opposite side, like a 1G. I also though you had to have specific cams with a groove in the end to run the 97-99 cam sensor. Because it's flipped, I believe you also have to switch plug wires and injector firing order.

Yeah, you do not need to run the specific sensors.

Same goes if you put a 95 ECU in a 97-99. Swap plug wire #1 with #2 and then #3 with #4.

If you don't change the sensors, you will also need a ROM with cas inversion or just rewire the injectors at the ECU.

Re: WTB: 2gb sensors

I don't think there is a rom with cas inversion yet (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). I thought I needed to do both, switch to the newer CAS AND switch my firing order?

Or do I have the option for either or? From what I've been reading, I need to do both. Again feel free to correct me.
