SOLD

Pictures in post listed below.

Forgot to list, this car is located in Little Canada.
1995 Eclipse GSX. 165k miles on the body / engine. Red exterior / Grey interior.
The factory 6 cd changer system.
Apex Turbo Timer
Apex'i GT-Spec downpipe / exhaust
RRE Upper Intercooler Pipe / Greddy Type-S BOV.
Intake Pipe + Filter
3 slot Pillar with turbo gauge and blinky a/f light.

I really don't wanna do this, and would like to just make this a project, get a built 6 bolt from a vendor here, and install it myself but my pops would like it gone as its taking up space. Since its not my household, i'll have to move and get my own garage before i come back to buy dsm's.

Whats the deal?
-Engine's 3rd Cylinder is blown. Car is still drivable, just that it won't feel normal.
-Transmission shifts great. No problems here.
-Fender rust at corner before it hits bumper on driver and passenger side. Not big, but visible. One guy at MAP said its easy to fix.
-Driver Leather Seat has rip by the edge, about 4 inches? from wear n tear. Pass and rear seats are perfect.
-Hatch tint is bubbling.
-There's a minor dent on roof, visible but a PDR would take care of it.
-Passenger side strut mount rust hole. Yes, the notorious hole. Got a quote from Don's Body and Auto on HWY 61, said they could do it for around $250 to repair. Damage isn't structural.
-I have my summer rims on it, bought it in 2006. 3 with minor rim rash (not me, my dad drives it. I think he hits our driveway when he's pulling in or leaving.) 1 rim is bent due to horrible hwy 694. Still holds air and is drivable.

Opportunity?
I'm not sure how much its worth, so I'm asking $1,300? Negotiable.
$1,300 ~ My asking price.
Things you can do.
$1,000 ~Estimated get a 6bolt Rebuilt Engine cost
$250 ~ Fix Strut Rust Hole.
=$2,550 For a good and reliable 2g dsm.

I've always changed oils every 3~4k miles. Mobil 1, 10w30 Fully Synth. Changed Tranny fluid last summer. Master clutch / slave cylinder replaced last summer. Alternator replaced.

I also did the 2gb Front Conversion. So it has the 2gb headlights, and bumper (paint match is perfect. I made at thread in here awhile ago with pictures.) I have fog lights and the bezels / brackets as well, just not installed. I also have the 2gb rear bumper + lights, not installed. I've been lazy and iidon't mind the 2ga rear bumper. These will be included.

I believe thats everything, if you have any questions, please let me know. $1,300 without the summer rims.

I feel thats a reasonable price, but can be negotiated. Please let me know. if you have any questions. Its best to reach me by phone.

Also the rims are 18" OZ Ultra Leggera Matte Graphite. New from Tire Rack is $348 each.

Yep, everything is still in it to drive off. The only problem is the engine is not normal running only on 3 cylinders. I did not confirm this but my dad's friends autoshop did, so I just said OK. Before the engine problem, car ran like a champ, turbo pulled strong, no boost leaks.

Re: Fs: 95 Gsx

By the way,
This is the stock 7 bolt engine. I'll post a vin # later. During winter I washed the car once every two weeks. Sometimes more b/c I hated winter and wanted to look clean. Could have replaced the fenders but was broke until past year. My PDR guy disappeared off the face of the earth, so he couldn't fix the dent on roof (not a big dent). Was going to take it to the body shop to fix my strut rust but this engine problem happened on the Friday before the week I was going to take it there. Decided to save the money and look for an engine, but I don't have much time as I travel for work alot so my dad drives it and he drives like an old man. This was my only car for a college kid so i didn't want it to break so I babied this car the day I got it. Never seen track times - I didn't want to until it was ready. Never redlined.

Re: Fs: 95 Gsx

I will give someone a good 2g block for $100 if someone wants to buy the car and fix it cheaply. The block had perfect compression and a good crank spec.

Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.

Re: Fs: 95 Gsx

Seems like a really good deal. I paid more than that for my 2g shell and mine was a lot shittier.

Re: Fs: 95 Gsx

Pictures showing the horribles of the car.

Rip in Driver Seat.
Passenger Side Strut Tower Mount Rust.
Driver / Passenger Side Fender Rust is identical.

Other than these....the car looks just like above.

Re: Fs: 95 Gsx

Can't find my edit in the post, so i'll just retype it.

The current rims on the car will not go with the car. I will put my winter wheel set on it. The winter tires that I bought for the car are wrapped on 16" A/R rims that came with the car when i first got it.

The OZ rims that are currently on it, I just don't think I can part with them for the price I posted. I have other uses for them as well. But who knows.

I've thought about that. If I was going to part it out, I would rather just keep the entire thing and fix it. I'm sure there maybe is more money made from parting it out, but I suppose having everything gone is better.
