Smile My talon 1/4 mile pass @ BIR

Quest for 11's hasn't ended just yet. One more track day, September 8th. I have couple things I want to change, including a trip to DB to rent some dyno time.

Just like it says in the video, pretty much a 16g with some supporting mods. Stock motor, a very mild set of cams... FMIC and such. All boost.

I do need some stickier tires, but I'd rather spin than go through transmissions

The trans usually hold up just fine. Its the rear axle's you got to worry about.

Can we get more info on your setup?
i just posted on link. People need to put cities in their location. If you are running some higher boost 27+ you should be moving a bit quicker I'd think.

Almost! I'd focus on shifting faster, the 1-2 shift was pretty slow, 2-3 not much better, probably shave off 4 tenths right there.

Nice, your 1g bounces as much as mine on the launch

Stock, shot suspension will do that. I get those "compliments" quite often, too. One time, I actually lifted front tire on the launch, according to bystanders.
Shifting is somewhat slow due to shot clutch pedal assembly. If I slam the pedal down during quick shifts, it doesn't disengage the clutch right away, so I have to wait. Hence slower shifts.
Launch def. needs to be improved, I think I am gonna try from lower rpms (5k in that video)
I am not sure if I want to go and beat on the car some more to get into 11s, we will see. I still need something to drive this winter
