Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
Sign of the times. I'd suspect others/more to fall as well.
I'm hearing this in just about every industry though, the shit is about to get ugly.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
I just hope I can find a job. In the paper today, I saw denny hecker is closing about 6 dealerships.
Stupid big 3 just added tinder to the gigantic fire already there.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
Im glad the government is reluctant to help the auto industry; maybe they will learn from their mistakes and actually make a product worth buying.
There are jobs out there, just depends how picky you are. I have two jobs! lol.

That does suck. SCC is the only "import" rag I actually read.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
That does suck, I'd rather see some of these JDM Yo TiTe rags bite the dust. I like to actually read about performance compact cars, not see how many stickers you can put on and how many Japanese brand interior parts you can put in. SCC was probably the best since Turbo went to shit years ago.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
And that explains why the December and January issues came 1 day apart in the mail this week...
A sad day indeed.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
hopefully Modified mag will stay around.
Im also glad to hear the government ripped on GM for begging for money while flying to washington in private jets that cost $20,000 to fly round trip to washington from detroit. Greedy fucks.

Re: Sport Compact Car dead?
Shit, I liked that mag. Not all issues but some were good.
I will defiantly miss
Ultimate street car challenge
I didn't like that they kept finding skylines but o well. Over rated car...
But when the economy goes to shit, you think that would be the best selling car magazine. Very few magazines have budget car projects that you can actually afford!

I know one of the skylines that was in that USSC. Paul Dentice. http://sportcompactcar.automotive.co...gtr/index.html , i believe it was the second year they had it. It was a white pearl R32. Cool guy, we play paintball together occasionally. I was racing him in his silvia when my car caught fire.
