Right after it happened, blew a hole in the lower timing cover!
Not much left of the wall on Cylinder #1!!! And those are old valve marks on the pistons

FIC Bluemax 1650ccs
Walbro 255HP Rewired

I just re-read this entire thread. That car was so much fun, especially when all the little problems were figured out and it finally was making the sort of power it was supposed to.
I will own another Mitsu one day
The current local owner of the car has made it his own, and has broken into the 8 second world (!!!!!!!!!!).

And as most of you know, Wade D. who purchased this car from me went on to make it a badass 8 second dragcar. It then got parted out, and hopefully some other ambitious DSMer is using that shell.
