FS: 1986 944 Turbo
Trying to help someone sell this gorgeous 1986 944 Turbo. 108k miles, brand new tires, refurbished interior, 0 rust!
Owner is asking $9500. I have an email with full details on the car (it's very long) as the car is very well cared for. PM me and I'll forward you the info if you're interested.

Re: FS: 1986 944 Turbo
You should totally buy this one!
*full disclosure I'm trying to close a deal on a new Evo, lol. Guy needs to sell this first and there's no way for a dealer to really put a value on a 28 year old, mint condition car.

Re: FS: 1986 944 Turbo
We had a friend that bought one of these in high school (though not nearly as nice) He loved that damn car. Owned it for like 8 years until some lady blew a red light and totaled it. I sent him pics and info. His was red as well, I know it will bring back some memories!

I've thought about buying one of these many times. If I got one now, it would only be for an LS swap.

Yea but not a turbo! You need a non-turbo S-version with a bad motor for that.
That being said, let's keep this on topic! Lots of exposure for a nice car bobby, but let's keep it focused on him selling THIS car!

Bump.
P.S. If this car gets sold as a result of this site, the referral for the new Evo will go to Style.

Re: FS: 1986 944 Turbo
Okay, here's how I'd put a value on this car: back in '87 the Conquest TSI was considered to be identical to this car in size, weight, engine size, output and performance. Only the Conquest was 2/3rds the price of a 944 turbo.
Applying that ratio here, a very well cared for '86 Conquest with high (over 100k) mileage in very good condition with no rust would be about $4-5k. That would put the value of this 944 turbo in the $6000-7500 range.
I wanted to post this two days ago but the system would not let me in. Since then I've seen the car sold on ebay for $8,200.
Whomp, there you go! Thank you...
